The awards are nominated by community members and voted on by the Executive Board of the Chamber. \n\nNominations closed\n\n\n\nBusiness of the Year - Large Division\n\nThis award is given to the area employer representing our large business community (50+ employees) that has shown growth or sustainability of their business with strong employee relations and a record of giving back to the community.\n\n\n\nBusiness of the Year - Small Division\n\nThis award is dedicated to recognizing an area employer categorized as a small business (1-49 employees). Please note that 'small business' in this context is defined by the number of employees\, and it includes a diverse range of businesses. The team also won five straight games\, the longest in-season streak for Tech since 1999.\n\nKnown for his aggressive offense and relentless defense\, Wilder brings a proven track record of success\, including building Old Dominion University's football program from scratch into a championship-winning team. With a coaching philosophy to "Aim High\," Wilder emphasizes recruiting and developing excellence on and off the field. Originally from Madison\, Maine\, Wilder holds degrees in physical education and educational administration\, blending his passion for athletics with a commitment to mentorship and growth.
