About Us:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time CSA - Accounting / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of accounts receivable transactions, preparing and sending invoices, following up on delinquent accounts, and reconciling accounts to ensure timely payments. Additionally, this role includes auditing our publications and websites (marked paper reports). This is a part-time position with a schedule of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and collections.

  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments.

  • Process customer payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts.

  • Prepare and maintain various reports related to accounts receivable.

  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payments, or other irregularities.

  • Communicate with customers regarding their account status and address any inquiries.

  • Work with the finance team to streamline accounts receivable processes.

  • Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with the Owners, CFO, team members, Field General Managers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on process improvements and team objectives.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position, typically Monday to Thursday, with additional hours as needed.

  • Office-based role reporting to the Owners and CFO.

  • Interaction with various departments and external clients.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's degree or higher in accounting or a related field preferred.

  • Prior experience in accounts receivable or a related role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and other accounting software.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Experience managing accounts or operations across multiple states and businesses is a plus.

  • Program knowledge with Stripe payment systems, Authorize.Net, Smart Publisher / Pre 1 is a plus.
