Chamber President and CEO   

  

DIRECT REPORTS  

Vice President of Highlands Economic Partnership 

  

HOURS  

Full-time, non-exempt.  

Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5:00PM 

Occasional early morning and nights.      

  

PAY  

Commensurate with experience   

  

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITES   

The Highlands Economic Partnership is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and results-oriented Program Coordinator to oversee our nine impact programs. These programs align with our core initiatives: economic development, workforce development, legislative advocacy, and career exploration. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to facilitate and coordinate all stakeholders and participants in each of these impact programs and will have a keen understanding of social media marketing to promote our organization and its efforts. 

  • Program Coordination: Oversee the operation of our nine impact programs, ensuring they align with our core initiatives and contribute to improving the quality of life in the Highlands region. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate and coordinate all stakeholders and participants involved in our impact programs to ensure smooth operations and maximum impact. 

  • Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for all program-related communication, both internally and externally. 

  • Marketing and Advocacy: Promote our organization and its initiatives through effective social media strategies. Advocate for our initiatives in legislative matters when necessary. 

  • Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare reports on program progress and outcomes for the Vice President and other key stakeholders. Regularly evaluate program performance and make recommendations for improvement. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Ability to accomplish following tasks: plan and coordinate economic development programs; prepare technical reports and materials; establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, officials, businesses, and the public; and maintain a customer management database, blog writing, and compliance reporting. 

  • Knowledge of economic and workforce development principles. 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities. 

  • Knowledge of the following software preferred: Microsoft Office Suite, Constant Contact, WordPress, Adobe Editing Suite, HubSpot and Prezi. 

  • Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital communication strategies. 

  • Experience with career exploration initiatives. 

  • Strong grammatical and writing skills are required. 

  • Must be able to travel part of the time and capable of working on multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously. 

  • Commitment to improving the quality of life in the Highlands region.
